FIRST INDOOR CUSTOM BIKE SHOW COMING TO LAKELAND
It will be a combination of some of the hottest looking custom motorcycle designs around in a cool and comfortable arena. Never mind the Florida summer heat or rain because this show will be a one-of-a kind indoor cycle show that will deliver. Mark your calendars for June 22nd when the RP Funding center will be opening its doors to the public from 10:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. for the first annual Central Florida Wheels of Steel custom bike show. It will showcase a variety of innovative designs brought in from top motorcycle builders who will be showing off their unique wheels and steel artistry. Cycle enthusiasts of all ages will have the chance to see over a hundred customized models in this family friendly event.
The event’s operation committee co-chair Jason Hallman promises the event will be one to remember for fans of custom motorcycle designs. He will be welcoming renowned builders such as Kory Souza from Sarasota and Cody Childress of Abilene, Texas.
“This event will become Central Florida’s premier motorcycle event with over a hundred custom motorcycles, builders and vendors—all under one roof!” said Hallman.
Adding to the visual artistry of the day will be special guest artist Tony Trotti who will be painting portraits of various artists to the tune of their hit songs. Each song will end with a finished portrait that will be auctioned the same day.
Riding safety will also be emphasized. Operation Chair of the event, Lieutenant Anthony Allaire from the Polk County Sheriff’s office will ensure that the event will help promote the safety aspects of operating a motorcycle.
Tony Cianci of “Full Throttle” magazine will be emceeing the event pairing up with a special guest radio deejay from MAX 98.3 radio. There will also be hourly prize drawings and a chance to win a 50/50 jackpot.
A special highlight of the day will be a drawing for a chance to win a custom built motorcycle to be announced during the final hour of the event by Lakeland Mayor Bill Mutz. In addition, trophies are awarded to the winners of each judged category of custom motorcycles and a grand champion award.
The event will include a variety of vendors along with food and drink concessions. All proceeds will benefit the Early Learning Coalition of Polk County, which provides quality early learning education to over 12,000 children annually. Cost to attend the event will be $20 per adult with free parking. All children under 12 are free.
